JoomlaNewsNetwork was formed to serve the Joomla community by gathering news about the Joomla! CMS, its developer ecosphere (both commercial and open source) and all developments related to Joomla.

With the Joomla community being served by the great Joomla.org site, is it really necessary for a news site dedicated to Joomla to exist? We think so. As great as Joomla.org is (and we're the first to admit that it is great, especially the JED) it really isn't the best place to find news about new Joomla developments. We aim to fill that niche. Of course, we'll be using Joomla! to do that.

So stay tuned --  we'll have lots of news and great new features like exclusive tutorials from JoomTrainer.com in the near future.
